what a good game.. enjoyed lot. Maybe it can be extended to a bigger game which has story and different levels to solve.

Defeat me please

Damn, I need to figure out a way to increase the challenge now :D

Please add a Button at Game Over Scen.

The Button Minimize or Reduce the Score Window.

So we can admire the board we create.

Close button is now added to score screen and Scoring button under Restart button appears when the game ends.

Here you are :)

Thanks for the motivation.

I got 1440 (ScreenShot in the reply of my other post)

very enjoyable! I got quite lost building lil biomes over and over

Nice to hear!

I've played this like three times already! Great game ^_^

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it!

Would be great if we could get hints for different tiles too!

Thanks for the feedback. What do you have in mind?

I'd love hints or tutorials for diversifying tile types. Right now I'm kind of stuck at the lake being my only water tile.

Got it, thanks for elaborating.

fantastic! easily my fav from the jam so far. hope you expand the game more in the near future

Thanks for the support! I'll give it some thought for sure.

Got 603 bio score, fun game

Got 1020, unique tiles are essential.

Awesome. Anything above 1k is really good!

Can you get a higher score?

You can. I thought I had just played a perfect game but I missed one unique tile. Obvi you can always increase tile score more but I think around 1,200 is the soft cap b4 it becomes purely luck based

Oh nice. You beat my high score! :D

i think we can go higher

closer! Let's Go to 1300+!

Rain cards have the most potential.

So maybe we should get more lakes. Also each lake gives 2 basic points which is not a bad deal.

EDIT: Ok, 8 lakes too many

this run was fully unoptomized, I had to throw out like 10 pollinations and had a misclick that cost me my 18th tile. I was saved by luck. But I do think that means with luck on our side i think 1400 is possible

(+1)

I did some math and if I had all 18 tiles it would have been 1386. So 1400 just needs a 78 tile score and all 18 tiles. 84 tile score for 1500? that might be pushing it but we shall see

(also thanks for the lake tip, that helped alot, cause I was only running 2 b4)

Table for Nerds

Yes. Let's go

1350+18

Age of 1400+

Yoooooo!!! nicely done! I gotta catch up!

(1 edit)

1400!!! lets gooo also ive been doing more math. After getting all 18 tiles you would have a tile score of 38. if the remaining tiles were all oasis habitats (6 points) you would have a tile score of 146 meaning the absolute max board score is 2,628. BUT that would take 108 perfect moves So it is impossible. More realisticly if we can get 2/3rds of our turns to be "perfect" and create 10 oasis habitats with the 18 other tiles we get a score of 1,764+ whatever the last 10 tiles end up as from the last 1/3 of the moves.

TLDR: Between 1800-2000 is what I would call a "Perfect game" and we are rapidly approching that benchmark

10 Oasis Habitats means:

  • 10 sandstorms
  • 10 meteors
  • 10 rains
  • 10 pollinations

Shoot you right, with the other 18 tiles that would push into the mid 70s for move count. so it would be a bit more than 2/3rds perfect move

And 14 Deserts is just too many. With that many Deserts, you would get nothing but sandstorm.
